Hail damage

How I managed to have our Vibe for so long without any visible hail damage, I'll never know. A storm came through early June and left a lot of dimples on the hood and roof (including the upper portion of the hatch door, and the sides just above the doors. We still have full coverage on the car, even...

Fender Bender (and busted tail light)

Backed out of a parking space to hear a 'crunch' as the person backing out from the space across from me collided with my Vibe. As you can see, if it had been a couple of inches higher, it would have just been a broken tail light. She said she didn't hear her car 'beep' (sensors?). I found a used ta...

Re: Kelly Explorer Plus sloppy handling?

After calming down, I remembered that certain sections of the interstate I use for my commute have nice little grooves that apparently only I notice when driving on new tires. My wife's brand new Yokohama Avid Touring S's on her Sportage feel the same way (only to me) on the same stretch of road.

I received my recall notice yesterday. (Had the 'No parts available' notice, first). The dealer I had the 'window fix' recall performed at is now a "Luxury" dealer (Cadillac/BMW/Mercedes).

I think I'll take it to the Chevy dealer instead.

Contemplating replacing my HRi's this week. 45,431 miles so far. I lucked out last winter and didn't have much snow to deal with. It turned out the 'wheel noise' I thought were due to the new tires was in fact a bad front wheel bearing.
