Here is the Circuit board with Radio Shack High Brightness White LEDs, PN 276-0024. Each LED has a 1/2 Watt, 220 ohm resistor (power computes to about 1/4 Watt) in series with the LED. The first step in using LEDs is figuring out the polarity. Facing the front of the circuit board, the positive voltage hole is on the right, for all three bulbs. Positive marked "+" in the photo.

Another tip on disassembly - In removing display, after straightening metal tabs, pull display STRAIGHT out from circuit board. My Radio lights completely went out, and I wanted to try LEDs instead of bulbs.
