Muffler delete?

I was curious if anyone here has done one, and what your results were. There are a few clips on YouTube, and they don't sound terribly loud. I would leave the rest of the exhaust components in.

Hjelp with paint color om my 07.

So i hit a deer with my Vibe, and i need a fender and a door skin. There are no Vibes in my color close, so any used parts will require quite a trip or shipping. Unfortunately, my glove box sticker that would have the paint code is worn to the point nothing is visible. IT os a Fairly dark grey, but ...

Yes I did. I have read on here, however, that some VW wheels fit the bolt pattern but the offset is way different. I was just wanting to make sure they should fit before I drop the coin and drive 2 hours to pick them up.

Re: What takeoffs wil fit an 08 base?

I found some steel wheels and tires that came off of an 01 Beetle. The bolt pattern seems to be the same, but I'm not sure about the offset. Anyone know if these should work?

What takeoffs wil fit an 08 base?

I am trying to find another set of wheels for my 08 base to facilitate regular and snow tire switching. I have found some conflicting info as to what wheels from other cars will fit. Other than they be 16s so I can run stick tire size, I don't have any other requirements. So folks, what should I be ...

Re: Slow fuel fill

I took the access panel off and everything is good. It looks like I need a special tool to take the vent lines apart. Does anyone know what tool that might be? Thanks

What is the best option for roof rack rails?

I am wanting to get some rails for my roof rack. My main use for it will be either a couple mountain bikes, possibly a canoe, or a cargo carrier. I have found OEM rails on ebay for around $85. It also appears that a lot of people use other rails that tie around the rack on the car. So, all wise ones...

Re: New member with an 07

So far I have about 2500 miles on it, and it has been running great. I've been getting right at 33 mpg out of it. I tried to post a picture, but I don't know how to scale it down from my iPhone so it will attach.

Re: Slow fuel fill

Every hose I see plugs into something else. I see the big black box and the little one behind it. Neither of which vent to the atmosphere.

Slow fuel fill

I am having an issue where it takes forever to fill my car up with gas. I have to fill it at a trickle otherwise the pump clicks off. I have done some searching on Toyota cars with this issue, bt everything I see is for older cars that have a vent to the atmosphere. Has anyone had this issue, and wh...

Re: New member with an 07

I don't have a photobucket account so it will be some time before j can get a picture of the car ( And the bike). So far so good with the car. The only problem I see so far is that there is something wrong with the fuel filler vent. I have to fill at a trickle otherwise the pump clicks off. There ar...

Re: timing chain tensioner

I am going to do this job this evening. After installing the new one, does it matter which way you rotate the engine to release it? Also, how does cranking the engine with no tension on the chain not cause it to jump teeth?

4. This is one of the best guides I have seen for changing the tranny fluid in the 1ZZ engine. http://www.paulstravelpictures.com/2003-2008-Toyota-Corolla-Transmission-Fluid-Change-Guide/ You'll need four quarts according to that. That would be a useful guide if mine was an automatic, not so much w...

New member with an 07

I just bought a grey 07 base model with a 5 speed. It has 189000 miles on it but is in very good shape. It spent part of it's life being pulled behind a motor home, as it still has the tow bar attachment points. I bought a new belt and timing chain tensioner, and plan on changing all fluids. I have ...
