SOLVED: 2009 - 10 Driver Side Headlamp replacement.

JetBlack's Driver side low beam failed, This is when I noticed it does seem to be exceptionally tricky to access this. Anyone got some tips or shortcut before I attempt pulling out things out of JetBlack.

Re: OBDII scanner

Check out SlickDeals or KinjaDeals was able to find some very inexpensive OBD2 scanner there. Peronally since I use iPhone I've gone with WiFi scanner and OBDcardoctor app. The Scanner ran me $8 and the app is free you should be able to view live data and Error codes.

Re: Vibe Battery

Thanks very much JetBlack!! Anytime, I would strongly suggest you get an Inexpensive OBD2 reader (That's compatible with your phone OS). This would let run a basic self-diagnostics on the Voltage your Battery is supplying & give you an idea about the area of trouble. Personally, I have had 2 al...

Re: Vibe Battery

No that's incorrect. '09 Vibe needs a regular 24F battery. You should be able to install it yourself too with just a socket. JetBlack runs off a Walmart ValuePower VP-24F Battery.

Link to the exact one I got.

Re: High Idle

You have to drive some distance for the ECU to relearn. Around 50 miles before the engine starts behaving properly again, has been my experience. It feels like it will stall which is annoying, but it won't. FYI my 2nd gen does not do this. I can have the battery disconnected for hours, and the car ...

I had a similar issue as this, Check your brake booster. Leaves P0171 and is rather hard to diagnose if you happen to have newer brakes. Try pumping the brakes and turning on the car to confirm pedal pull if you dont feel it. Its the brake booster?
