Blower Resistor Replacement

Replaced the Blower Motor Resistor today after my blower motor in my 05 would only work on high. The Part # is 88973260 and CDN Cost is $56.76.It is located under the dash very close to the back of the glove box. It is held in place with 2 11/32 inch bolts. The back one is almost impossible to remov...

CEL - CAI - Car bogs down!

Have an 05 Base manual tranny with a Cosmo CAI. The CEL comes on almost constantly after resets (regardless of how long I disconnect the battery or have the system reset at the garage). It also bogs down under hard acceleration - if you let the pedal up slightly, the car planes out and accelerates re...

Re: Rear Lock Fuse? (millster)

Yes, it is the door, not the glass hatch that will not lock. I will pull the panel and check the connections. If I find nothing, it's off to the dealer, I guess!

Rear Lock Fuse?

I just discovered my rear hatch does not lock or unlock with the remote. Does it have it's own fuse? What else could / should I check?I don't want to waste the time with a trip to the Dealer.ThanksVibedad

Re: (goodvibe)

Oiled when first installed which was back in May, so I doubt that would be the problem now. I will try some injection cleaner to see if it helps. I also noticed that the hose that runs from under the plastic engine cover into the CAI had a very tight bend in it. I am wondering if it was crimping so ...

CEL ON more than OFF!

Have a Cosmo on my 05 Base that has worked great with only a few problems in 6 months. Now, about every other day, my CEL is ON! A quick check with the dealer found it to be related to air flow so I know it's my CAI. I have checked all the connections as well as the filter and all seems OK. When I r...

I have an 05 with the Cosmo and it is great! Easy fit. The unit on your Ebay link appears to have been assembled backwards for the picture - the bends etc. look right but the filter is on the WRONG END! One of the best things about the Cosmo unit - it has a rubber/nyoprene elbow at the filter end wh...

I am the lucky owner of a new mid-gate spoiler and want to install it. I have searched the posts but cannot find clear instructions for removing the rear hatch interior to install the spoiler. Is a special tool needed? If not, how do I do it?

CAI in the winter

Living in Ontario, Canada, we can, at times get some very cold winter weather. The last couple of years, we have only had a couple of big snow falls so I do not think that that is an issue. For those of you with CAI, do you leave them on year round or take them off and go back to stock for the winter?

I bought mine from Cosmo Racing out of Quebec, Canada. Great unit, easy install. Full length, witha nice neoprene (?) elbow that goes on before the air filter to get around the foglight. The only thing I had to do that was abnormal was run a longer piece of hose from the line that runs under the eng...

Was into the Dealer yesterday. I went for a drive with the Service Manager, ( WHO LOVES THE MODS i'VE DONE) and we went for a drive. He agrees that it is rough and abnormal. Cosmo CAI install on 2005 Base Vibe

Just received and tried to install the COSMO CAI on my 2005 Base Vibe today. Second, I could not find the first (front) ...
