Re: Coolant flush

I hooked hose up to both top and bottom core ports? I guess you call them. and flushed that into a container. then hooked bottom one back up, and ran air through top one (vinyl hose that I put on top one, bottom core house hooked up to engine)with the engine block drain open. I got quite a bit more ...

Flushed heater core. Used slight pressure compressed air to drain core and got much more from engine block thi...

FACTORY COOLANT

Re: coolant flush

Okay thank you. I really wanted to find a concentrate coolant to use for this reason, and saw the Toyota red, but it's only a 2 year fluid from what I understand. Is there a comparable concentrates coolant which has a longer life? I haven't been able to sort this out

I read about this on ...

Re: venting

in all seriousness, is there a specific reason they'd all break like this? I assumed it was over torque/cross threading. I replaced the lug nuts and studs and noticed that they were finicky as is brand new, even when being careful. almost seemed like i'll have more problems eventually with this even...

New owner

Hi, New owner of an 05' vibe base model with 112,000. I've picked up some good advice on basic things already from the forums and wanted to say thanks. Figured I'd become a member and say hi. Still trying to figure out fixes/maintenance for the vibe yet, and I'm sure this will be a great resource. C...
