Yep...that is the stuff...works GREAT!!! I thought it was 100 feet or so, but it is 67 feet. Still a great deal in comparison

Two Words.......Ice GuardBuy it from home depot for about $70 a roll...which is 100 feet long X 40 or so inches wide. It is IDENTICAL to dynamat and even has the adhesive backing for application...It works REALLY well.

6.5" does fit and I run 6.5" midbass in all doors, but depending on the speaker depth you will need to build out some sort of trim ring. "Most" 6.5" speakers would hit the glass when the window is down without a mounting ring...the "shallow" speakers, for me anyway...

Great idea! It seems like this could be dangerous in the event of an accident as the glass will not break out and could amplify head and neck injuries. Isn't this the reason why you can't use plex or lexan for a windshield?

After review of the amp, I recommend the following:1. Set the subsonic filter on and raise it to the max frequency (50hz?)2. Set all crossovers to HP and cut @ 100 - 150 hz3. Turn "bass boost" off4. if you are running "high level" inputs, change them to preamp level from the deck...

If you have deck power going to any speakers, set the deck level that references the max that those speakers can handle before distortion, then back it off a tick so it is just under their distortion level and then reference the amp gains to that volume level. That is your new "MAX" volume...

Turn them gains down holmes...you should set the gains so that at FULL volume on the deck you are just a tick or two under the level where audible distortion begins....this will allow the amp to make the headroom that will offer MUCH more clarity and volume. Try it....you may like it.

Is it an LCD display?Some LCD are really finicky to cold weather and when required to change due to display change i.e. shuffle, can go blank or act strange until the liquid is warm enough...normally it shouldn't happen, but I have seen it before.
