Today, I picked up a 3'x5' entry mat from Home Depot with a rubberized bottom for $16.97. I trimmed newspaper to get the pattern right before trimming the real thing using a pair of scissors. I just ran out to the garage and checked the pressure in our 2-day-old Vibe and it looks like our dealer was more conscientious than most. The fronts are 32.5 lb and the rears are 32.0 lb.

At least here in the States, front and rear floormats should be standard equipment. The dealer gets a package with each car that contains the mats, cargo cover, tie downs, straps, etc.

Our dealer put a decal on the hatch, but they offer lifetime free state inspections (every year here in PA) as long as we leave the decal on. So, in essence, the dealer IS paying us to advertise for them.

Hmmm! If we got the same price, but 0% financing -vs- 5.25%, that would save us $20/mo! We'd rather have missing options than extra options, but I'll do some searching around. The GMbuypower site allows searching by dealership. It's a bit clunky, but that sort of legwork could pay off.

Hmmm ... with Vibes, is it generally possible to get the car for invoice or less? Looks like $1287 difference between MSRP ($18980) and Invoice ($17693). Holdback should be 3% ($531), for a total of $1818 between MSRP and true invoice with holdback ($17162). Thanks for the feeback and advice.
