Re: what is that plug inside right side tail light access panel?

My AWD 2006 has a hitch. But no visible cables. My friend told me they normally would have some cable tucked away in a pocket area or something. I myself haven't really looked yet to see if I found one, but maybe that could just be some kind of connector for the tow cables?

I'd be willing to take the good weather strips off of your hand. No damaged ones though, hah. ;)

How much would you be wanting for the good ones? I'm not sure what kind of price to put on those, haha

Re: 06 2wd vibe parts for sale.

Hey. I've got a Vibe AWD 2006, hopefully they'd be pretty similar. I've been looking at getting new door weather seals/strips since I got the rockers repainted and the old ones still have some rust remains on them. http://g04.s.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1zX8zFVXXXXc3XpXXq6xXFXXXq/221005273/HTB1zX8zFVXXXXc3Xp...

WANTED: Pontiac Vibe 2006 AWD - Door Weather Seals?

Just had my rockers cleaned up and repainted, they were pretty rusty. The weather strips that are not on the door but the actual car half has some rust on the bottom where it was rusty at. Anyone know where I can buy some of these used or new? Sites?

Another question.

Rear differential. When I get the seals replaced, is it a good idea to replace all the gears inside as well? Since they've got everything gutted for it aleady.

Yes. I'm not throwing any money into the car toward that issue. I've only got opinions from other techs/mechanics.

By the way, is there a mod for the exhaust?

Re: Vibe AWD 2006(base) - 3,000RPM/40-60MPH Issue

Ended up doing a spill and fill for the tranny fluid. It was black and basically like water. They say I'll need a new tranny or the current one repaired.

I'm assuming it'll be cheaper and propably quicker to just replace the tranny with a new/used one. Where about can I like on the net for this?

Does yours also drop down a bit under 3,000rpm after it hits 40mph or so?

Re: Vibe AWD 2006(base) - 3,000RPM/40-60MPH Issue

Firestone does have an actual mechanic shop. More than just tires. What do you mean by Cat? Catalytic Converter? Would that not throw a code or no? Also not a expert or anything, but since the RPM seem fine when I'm in first gear but when I get into higher speeds the RPM just drops bellow 3,000rpm, ...

Vibe AWD 2006(base) - 3,000RPM/40-60MPH Issue

I've recently got a 2006 Vibe from a family friend, they claimed everything was good about it but when I brought it home and checked the fluids and the basic stuff. I found barely no engine oil and plugs were a bit worn out/hot. Anyway, my current dilemma is that when I am driving it seems to have n...
