Re: Mounting aftermarket tweeter (tau166)

Piper joins the fray. Last weekend I installed Orion compoent speakers on all 4 doors of my 2003 Vibe Gt. I had to break out my Dremel and modify the door panel to install the tweeters. I even did this on the front doors even though the sails were designed for tweeters due to massive size of the new...

Thank you!

To all the members of this forum I just wanted to say thank you! Your posts helped make my installation and modification projects easier and gave me the confidence to take the plunge, literally with my dremel, and completely remake my car audio system. I still have a ways to go before I reach my ult...

Re: How To: Remove Front Floor Console, Automatic Transmission (Geo)

I agree about blue but red is harder to pull off when you consider the envirorment. A lot of times red just comes out looking like Pink unless you have a very powerful light source. You might want to stick with blue! As for the tear down. Awesome job! it really has given me some ideas for running ca...

Re: Detailed XM install (The Stig)

Hello! As some one that went through this process last weekend I would have to say that you are up a creek as far as audio quality if you decide to keep the stock head unit. If the head unit is an after market unit and has an IP Bus interface you can get an IP Bus connector cable that then converts ...

Re: (Celtic_Curse)

So you think about 300 US? I should come up to Canada and buy the stuff up there. I do love Paradign speakers which I believe are another fine Canadian product.

Re: Complete Noob! (Piper)

From the sound on things to have my cake and eat it too would require way too much modding. Which translates into way too much money. So I have made the choice and am going to sell my Nav unit and CD changer. Like everything I have done on a limited budget this is going ot be a staged build. First s...

Re: Complete Noob! (joatmon)

Those of us who live in Washington DC know the nightmare that is the daily commute. Right now I am commuting from Reston to the Pentagon where my job site is. I am a information security consultant. So my work takes me all over.

Re: (Celtic_Curse)

NO need for grill now, the wheel well has been sound deadend to the point where there are absolutely no rattles. I highly recommend this if you don't want to give up hatch space. Got to thank Derdall Designs for the great work.***edit*** see most recent comment from me..going a little bling bling.Th...

Hello Everyone!Well I am new to this forum and wanted to shout out a big hello! I have been a Vibe owner for about almost a year now. I have a 2004 GT VIBE and have decided that stock is just not good enough. While visions of the “Fast and the Furious” dance in my head my wallet holds me back.I ...
