I see the muffler and tail pipe, and the part for the O2 sensor, but I don't see the intermediate pipe? after the resonator

Re: What did you do to your Vibe today?

Well it finally happened. First the rust on the exhaust started on the pipe behind the muffler, causing it to be a little louder. Then the rust started to make a whole after the resonator, making the car even louder. Now it finally severed after the resonator completely. It's a shame the only exhaus...

Re: New 2009 GT owner

Welome! post pics of your car when you can. I love the 09/10 GTs, especially red. Is there some type of cover for the cargo area that pulls over the hatch/trunk area to cover any "goods" that are put back there? I don't mean the hard cover over the spare tire area, but a soft cover that pulls over o...

How to mount factory roof rack on 09 Vibe?

I got an 09 GT and got a set of stock roof racks. I know you have to take out the plasticclips, the bolts, and the little bracket thing. But what am I missing to secure the 4 mounts down to the roof?

Re: is a 2.4 litre good stuff=-

I love my 09 GT manual. It's certainly peppy in the higher RPMs, but doesn't have a lot of power. More responsive than my V8 Silverado I do all driving around town, and don't necessarily baby it, yet I will get at least 23-24 MPG (with winter closer to 22-23) If they put a turbo on it from stock and...

I had the same issue over the weekend! after the big storm and the roads were cleared I went driving. Started shaking around 40+ mph. Worried about what it would be I got to my destination. Few hours later I drove back and all was well.

Cleaned the windows today, it's in desperate need of a wash though, but I might wait till after this snowstorm this weekend.

I also need to do an oil change. if it's not too bad I'll do it tomorrow. I need a space heater or something in my garage.

I'm pretty surprised at my fuel mileage. The EPA estimate for city is 21 MPG. I do all city driving, and I'm quite peppy to get up to speed, and the past two months I've gotten about 24.5 MPG. In the summer I was over 25 MPG around town.

Maybe because it still mostly looks like a sedan. I love the back end of my Vibe, it looks like a hatchback, same as a the Mazdas

I just had this problem this morning. Got the VSC off, Check engine light, and the other light coming on.

Got P0607 which would suck. I cleared the codes and drove around for a few minutes and they have not returned yet. I really hope it's just a weather thing.

Cleaned the inside out. the outside got a bath (it started to rain very much) and filled up.

I'm actually blown away and trying to figure out how I got the mileage for this last tank. I got 29.4 MPG city driving. Any highway I do is for an exit or two, but anything else is around town.

I have an 09 GT. I'm 6' tall and have the seat tilted back a little (the seat when upright hurts after a while), and I feel completely fine. The sunshade or sunroof open also helps make it feel pretty open. I never feel like I'm going to be hitting my head anything.

The only way to make an attached scoop functional is if you cut a hole in the hood. That said you can buy one and have it cut then welded, and have the hood repainted.

It doesn't sound much better. And the muffler is far enough away from the manifold that it won't increase performance at all. The only way it would, is if you increase the size of the pipe from the header back.
