Re: Wanted--thc4405 dc header

Honestly, you are going to have a VERY difficult time finding one. They have since been discontinued. Hopefully someone here has one, or can chime in on where to find one.

Out of curiosity, why are you looking for one? Are you building a 1ZZ? The stock header isn't horrible for what it is.

With that said, welcome to the party. I am not sure where you can find a fog cover. Maybe call your local GM dealer to get the part number and go from there?

First four codes are misfires. I'd check the plugs and coils.

Last code generally is an intake manifold leak/vacuum leak. I would double check the vacuum lines.

try rotating the axle. the circlip in the trans needs to be more-or-less centered for alignment and it'll fall right out. if it's an OEM axle, you should also have a decent lip that you can put a pry bar against and use a 5lbs sledge to beat it out.

To disagree, you NEVER use any kind of oil in a lock, unless you're willing to continually oil that same lock. Use alcohol and graphite. I'd continue soaking the lock cylinders in WD-40/PB Blaster/white lithium grease, etc. Doing that, and slowly working the key in/out, back/forth, will eventually help you get it freed up. Issue is probably lack of use since most don't use the key in the cylinder. The biggest one nearly everyone will...

You may need to change the fluid a few times to get all of the old fluid out. IIRC, a drain and fill only removes about 20-25% of the old fluid. Theoretically, if you do 4-5 drain and fills over the course of a few weeks/months, it would cycle out all of the old fluid. Doing that has resolved the P0...

It is common for the sunroof drains to plug. Since the gasket isn't really watertight, and you do open the sunroof, you can get debris in the gutter. Of course, that then clogs the drains. Vacuuming them out, or using compressed air and blowing them out usually clears them up and solves the issues.
