It appears you have entered a parallel universe after visiting the tire shop. This universe is nearly identical to the one you were in before but contains a few glitches. One of those being all shifter knobs are reversed. You may experience more glitches in this "matrix" from time to time....

I would do that. Put a new cap from a lucas oil bottle in a cup of gas and monitor it over time. See what effect it has on it. If it morphs into a gremlin, then kill it instantly.

I see a lot of cars with the chrome stripe on the side mirrors now that I'm looking out for it. It's like you always notice Vibes on the road after you own one. So I got my wheel covers in that I bought on ebay and put them on. Changes the feel of the car compared to my black ones. I like it though....
