I just put mine in the passenger section of the winshield. I bought mine in New Mexico, where 2 plates are not required, there for I do not have the holes either. I haven't had a problem with the po po (knocking on wood )

I have been waiting to use that sinse I first saw that ugly grill!!! On a side note, I didn't think the prop thing looked half bad on the impreza/WRX. The tri-funkta wouldn't look good with any grill....

I would go with TREO SS or SSX subs, OZ audio mids and highs (Matrix component sets), and a tube amp or two to power 'em. All the Bass you could want and some of the clearest highs you have ever heard.

Estes Park and RMNP both rock! The hotel that inspired Stephen King's the Shining is located there too! The only road I know of that is closed during the winter/spring time is Old Fall rd. But other than that they should all be pretty much GTG. Have fun and enjoy the lack of O2

I got my 70 (ish) Mini back with no issues in 1999. What's this 4" too short thing? The Skyline would never be able to pass emmissions and saftey standards. Well, it could but there would be tons more money dumped into it.

Brand matching means nada for speakers. Generally, most aftermarket speakers will sound better than stock. There re exceptions, really cheap speakers might sound worse depending on what the stock stereo is. By really cheap I am talking about quality, not price.

The more power the better, ALWAYS, try to power match as close as possible. Under powering a subwoofer is B - A - D. Just push as much power to it as you can afford, and you'll be fine. I found the removing the center consol and just one of the seat made it a piece of cake. That was with the radio out though. 1 0 guage, 4 RCA's, remote lead, ground, and 6, 8 guage.

I Chose coil overs mainly because of winter. Since the Vibe is my primary vehicle year round, I have to drive it in inclemnt weather. The coil overs allow me to slam the car in the spring summer fall timeframe but during the winter, I can raise it up to darn near original height in about 20 minutes.

I wonder if it is anything like my old Exploder. If you hold the seatbelt release button down for a few seconds (30) it might trick the monitor into believing the belt is fastened. It worked for the Ford. Another idea would be to just get a belt from a junk yard and just connect the extra latch only...

What I meant was, normally if rotors are warped you get a very distinct feel when pressing the brakes, like your ABS is going REALLY slow. When I am driving I can feel like a grinding sensation that coincides with the noise from th passenger wheel. strangly enough, I only feel it throught the accell...

Patience young grasshopper. The order didn't go in and prototyping wasn't even started until 24 Feb at the earliest! I would imagine it would take a little more than a month to produce a production grade product that would appease our discriminating tastes. That being said, pictures would help quell...

Thinking you have separated the VC from it's housing. I have seen it happen that way before. Press on the cone and it plays, gently lift the cone (move it out) and the VC comes with it!!You'll probably have to replace it, but it was a clean break.
