Re: Retrofitting hid bulbs into fog lamps...

Alright thanks guys, I understand it a bit better now, the reason I want to do this in the first place is that my BMW I have, I was able to simply buy the headlight assembly and install hids in the projector assembly and now I do everything in my power not to drive the vibe at night as quite frankly...

Re: Retrofitting hid bulbs into fog lamps...

But in a projector wouldn't the beam pattern be better than stock, not to worried here about the law, can always leave regular lights alone and just fiddle with fogs, but I don't plan on leaving the stock fog light housing in place, I would replace them both with projectors and aim them correctly, I...

Retrofitting hid bulbs into fog lamps...

Okay so I am wondering that if I buy some decent projectors and retrofit them into the fog lights, could I simply leave the headlights alone or possibly disconnect them and aim the foglight projectors properly and use them as headlights with HID's in them?

Windshield Wipers Bolt

Okay so as some of you may know that recently last year, I had to remove both windshield wiper arms and flip them because some idiot of a PO had for some reason taken them off and then reinstalled them on the wrong side. So I fixed that last year around october or november, however since my fix of t...

Installed this mod this past weekend and I must say, IT LOOKS AMAZING, like you can see everything at night time, I did however use a different bulb, I believe I used these,http://www.amazon.com/Cutequeen-12-SMD-Festoon-DE3175-DE3021/dp/B009W09HG2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1394030209&sr=8-2&...

Re: Grinding Gears

Had 93k miles when we bought it back in March, have since put almost 30k miles on it reading a whopping 120k. It has been doing it d sense we got it sip I don't think it is something crucial, otherwise especially with me learning how to drive a stick, the transmission would have been completely shot...

Re: Grinding Gears

No we haven't changed the fluid. I didn't mention earlier that it h has been going on since we bought it, nine months ago. It is also a manual and I looked, and searched online, and couldn't find an easy way to check the transmission fluid without lifting it up, which is really difficult for me to do.

Grinding Gears

So we've had this problem on our vibe , it's an 03, base five speed. When going from second to first gear at speeds the owners manual states is okay , under 15mph or even under 10mph it will grind viciously. It also likes to grind when going into third, doesn't matter from what, it will grind, but o...

Re: 2003 headlight issue

I don't know if you got it fixed yet, but the actual socket type thing that you plug the bulb into on ours had burnt up causing the same issue, we replaced it ourselves in less than like 10 minutes and it was maybe 5 dollars.

With the posted picture above, I now know that for some reason? No idea what, the arms are on the incorrect side, however, does anyone know how to fix them correctly? Like a step by step guide?

Re: Windshield wiper arms on opposite sides?

Yeah I know, but I've check 3 different sites and have bought and installed correctly the wipers, but what I'm wondering is if the wiper arm on there is the incorrect one for the car or better yet, what is the correct one and how do I remove the old one and correctly install the new one?

Okay so our vibe is a 2003 base model 5 speed, 115k miles on it, around 5k miles ago the front left end started sqeaking and creaking when getting in or out and while going around curves or over bumps, it has gotten progressively worse. Any ideas on what it could be?

Re: Encountering any brake-related noises? Check here!

My dad has a 2003 vibe base model, we bought it and all was good and we drove ti about 15k miles in about a six month span, yes a lot of driving, and they got to the point where it was "that car" at the intersection and stop light so I changed them for my father only to discover that the b...
