Stupid heat/HVAC question

So I'm not sure if this is normal, or my blend door is off. But I notice a lot of hot air comes out of my 'front' dashboard vents, even if the heat is turned off or set to blow out the floor only (which is does).
Anyone?

Previous cars were two Toyota's and a money pit of a Nissan in between. I only bought a Vibe because I knew it was a Toyota and it was a bit less $ than a comparable Matrix and had better styling. (All my cars have been pre-owned). I have no idea what I am going to do when I need a new car (hopefull...

That happened on my 06 Trix. I never did fix it and then the car got written off. It was broken for at least a year and half. This video shows a similar repair; it seems like a lot of work. And the result isn't perfect. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=onXYHY-vpk8&feature=youtu.be Oh man, that l...

Anyone have a fix for a broken hinge on the fuel door?

03 Vibe...not sure how long it's been like this but I've noticed the bottom hinge seems to have broken off. The other one is okay (sprayed a bit of grease on it), but I'm wondering how long that one will hold. Does anyone have a good solution to repair or replace this? http://i.imgur.com/U6hTn1N.jpg

My poor Vibe was involved in an odd fender bender and the piece of cladding on the passenger side above the rear wheel (the piece between the door cladding and the bumper) got scratched up to hell with large gashes in it that aren't really fixable.
