Re: 8" speaker in factory subwoofer encloser?

I did try to search for it, used the search bar with a ton a different combinations and just came up with 1 result with out that much info. I ended up buying a 6.5 subwoofer, going to see how that goes. Hope to see if it'll be easy to sell afterwards. Didn't want to make a box for a bigger sub, beca...

Re: fogged headlight lens?

You can 1 of 3 things. 1: buy 500/800/1000 grit wet/dry sand paper (If it's basically in horrible condition go with 400/600/800/1000 wetdry). Give it a really nice clean and dry then mild pressure sand with 500 grit, blowing off excess dust (its going to look worst then before its ok), Clean dry, sa...

Re: Vibe Upgrade Monsoon Audio system to Hurricane DIY

Derf, again great write up and fast direct answer! My last question of using all output amp wires or just the bass wires, if each channel is linear means a channel can't output more than it's mean't to, but if all out put are connected wouldn't it feed all 200w to the sub? If this is to much and wou...

Re: Vibe Upgrade Monsoon Audio system to Hurricane DIY

Post is old, but great advice! Wanted to know 3 things 1: after installing F & R door speakers, how were the wires ran? from HU to amp (connecting wire going to and going out of amp, bypassing amp) then speakers? 2: the factory bass, you ran RCA from HU to amp and just the amp to bass. Where did...
