I got 18"s on my 2008 with 245/40's and the ride is definitely rougher however handles much better. I was told the 19"s are a much more expensive tire and also, that lower profile would be even rougher.

I've had some bad luck with my cars of past, however it seems I've found a winner in this car with nothing but typical repairs to this point so that was my question really, I agree likely better to keep on keeping on with my current setup instead of forking out more money.
