8) Connect the wire hardness to the new switch and push it back to the base.

9) Install the covers carefully until every clip is engaged.

10) Enjoy.

4) Now turn the steering wheel until you can access to two holes in the picture, and then use a small screw driver to disengage the clip. You may want to pull the lower cover when doing so, so the covers will fall out. Please use some tape on the screw driver as you can see I have scratched my clip....

Re: 09/10 Base wiper delay upgrade

okay I took some photos for those who is interested in doing this mod. Credit goes to Frank who I got the idea from. And please forgive my English. 1) Pull down the tilt/telescope lever. 2) Find a clip in the middle of the steering cover and disengage it - be very careful since it may break easily. ...

Re: 09/10 Base wiper delay upgrade

Hi Tony how'd you make out with your install? Did you find any problems with your relay? I hear mine click faintly when the wiper operation commences during delay operation but I've been an auto mechanic for 25 plus years and the click is pretty faint to me lol. Hope all is good on your mod---Frank...

I will try again later - since I feel the air flow is from bottom to top.

Then I will put the dirty side to the air intake side avoiding blowing everything off in the car!!!

2009+ Vibe cabin filter question - direction?

Hi, I decided to check the cabin filter after reading some post here - and I worried about my filter is as dirty as what they post!!! :o :o :o Fortunately it is NOT - some dust on one side but pretty clean. The problem is when I want to put it back, I noticed that there is a direction indication on ...

Re: Disable the On-Star in a 2009 - 2010 Vibe

Maybe you could register your on-star number on the do not call list. My understanding is that 911 will still work if you are not subscribed. It might also be used to locate you if you are a missing person. I have kept on-star active for $12.95 a month. I figure it is worth that. You are right - it...

Help needed: 2009 Vibe 12V Aux power outlet

Hi,

I saw a post of wiring the relay so the 12V aux power is always on however it was for the previous generation.

Is there anyone know where is the relay for 2009+ vibe?

Thank you.

Disable the On-Star in a 2009 - 2010 Vibe

Hi, I just disabled the on-star. I don't like the light, and don't want my son mess around with the buttons. It is pretty easy. Open the hood, and open the fuse box. Find fuse 31 (They are so good to print all fuse illustration on the fuse cover, just find the one marked "Mayday" and pop i...

yes I got a feeling of Lazy and I might plug it back one day.

I used to drive a Peugeot in the country I from, and the sensitivity of the auto light is controllable. And by pushing a button 4 seconds toggles auto light on/off. Which is more practical!

Re: 2010 Vibe Auto Headlight mod - partial failure

Updates:

The DRL is okay.

In the beginning I started the car, and found no DRL. However when the emergency break is off and transmission is moved from "P", the DRL came in.

So removing the sensor does disable the automatic light, however leaving DRL in function.

Cheers,
Tony

I just found that the DRL is still there! It is a dimmed high beam. I thought DRL was from the low beam, and I did the check under the sun so I didn't notice the dimmed high beam.

Hi,

I just bought a 2010 Vibe basic 1.8 Auto with 35,000KM on it.

There is a user manual come with the car, however I can not find a service record with it.

So my question is, is there a booklet come with new Vibe, where the dealer or auto shop can stamp on it?

Thank you.
