Speaking of historic, I wonder what percentage of Vibes are still on the road. Subaru and Ford have been marketing 9x% percent of vehicles still on the road after 10 years. Aside from deer committing suicide by Vibe, I wonder about active Vibe registration.

Have same issue. My moon and tunes amp would turn on before the head unit, when the head unit powered on the speakers attached to the moon and tunes amp would pop. On my other aftermarket head unit when I would switch sources, CD, AUX, FM, it would pop, super annoying.

Its hard to distinguish the sound. The sound is loudest over driver rear side of the engine, the PCV valve is located under the engine cover on the drivers side. Very nice. I noticed when replacing the intake manifold gasket how much blow by collected in the intake manifold. This would have helped prevent the oil issue, plus kept oil off the intake gasket, which may have extended the gaskets life.
