so thats why that was in the instructions lol so i guess it wont do any harm to do it after the fact right? if i just disconnect the negative battery cable and reconnect it, it will still reset it.

After installing the intake, did you have to get a remap done? I have been told by several people i work with that it is necessary in order for the car to get the right air/fuel mix in.
