I am running Hawk Ceramic brake pads paired with power slot rotors (vented slotted) front, and generic rear brake shoes for rear and oem drum. No squeeks as of yet.... No offence, but EBC green is absolute garbage!

I am now at 114700 km 2004 pontiac vibe.Got it April 08 with 50 000 km.. Since then, the only thing that I had to fix was the waterpump, and fog lamp.

yes, I tried threshold braking, but as this vehicle is new to me (I usually drive an Acura TSX, vibe is just the beater car) (and keep in mind in a complete panic situation), and I do have countless hours in a professionally closed skid track with a teacher to the side of me... from a 2.4 l engine, and an economy vehicle, 9.14 L / 100 KM isn't as low as I quite expect.With my TSX, I avg about 8.6 L per 100 KM.. but the gas it drinks is a LOT more expensive!!

my maf sensor blew a few weeks ago... couldn't rev over 3000 easily.. but still went a bit over.. MAF sensor is a common problem for the 1ZZ engines.. just hope it doesn't effect vibes/matrixes or the new corollas.this past year dixie toyota has sold over 300 MAF sensors for this prob.I got mine rep...
