Thank you ToolGuy! I would've gone ahead with new tires and alignment without checking out the tires first. Hey Jake - that was funny!! I never thought of that....I could be the old man in his old car that he's driven for years and years...As for the front end parts, I'll have that looked at. We figured alignment and tires, but glad you brought that up.

My Vue RL has a new sister

Although I don't post regularly, nor have my Vibe GT anymore, I am a quiet lurker, checking in everyday. Knowing that, I wanted to share...He's needed a new car for a while, but this was the icing on the cake.We're in his old car Saturday running errands...course I'm driving when smoke starts coming...

I haven't logged in for a while, but still on lurk on a regular basis. I traded my Fusion Orange '04 Vibe GT for a Chili Pepper Red '06 Saturn Vue Red Line on June 28, 2006. I miss the manual tranny, but love the V6 in the Vue.

The Sky is a hot car...haven't seen any here yet, but the Solstice is beginning to make an appearance. Saw a yellow one is LA last week. The bling-bling wheels gotta go though. They do nothing for the car.

Thanks for all the nice comments! I knew I loved this site for a reason. On the day I bought it, I took it out for an extended test drive to make sure it fit in my tiny little garage. It had 3 miles on it, and when I brought it back, it had 63. Today I'm up to 148. Needless to say, it fits just fine...

For those of that are cheap, or cannot afford to keep the house at 72... I have a programmable thermostat that sits at 85 from 9am to 4 then goes to 82. At 9pm it goes to 80. I keep the ceiling fans on 24/7 and that seems to help keep the house semi cool.

No problems with mine - you really should add that as a choice. I really like the fact that I can open the glass independent of the whole liftgate. It's a great feature.
