Re: K&N Cold Air Intake De-Mystified Please?

I couldn't resist but buy one of these Cold Air Intakes... My Vibey is 07. K&N don't have one for this year therefore I decided to buy a Typhoon that is for 1.8 Vibe but for 03-04 or something. When I started mounting it I found out there are some major differences: a big hose that goes to engin...

Re: Hitch problem: bolts don't fit

To joatmon: many thank for the idea with the DIY tap tool! Just got my hidden hitch mounted and it was fairly easy. First tried to get a tap tool or 12x1.25 bolt from Home Depot and Lowes. No luck at both places. Then went to ACE hardware and they had both. Tap was around 7 bucks, bolt like 3-4. Dec...

Re: Best place to get CABIN AIR FILTERS!

I got mine from Amazon as well for a little less: TYC 800038P Toyota/Pontiac Replacement Cabin Air Filter http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VKTUJQ/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00 $8.04 with free Prime shipping Though there was a little confusion - the manual says: "Ensure the airflow arrow is poi...

Re: How To change blower motor and blower motor resistor

Just replaced my resistor. Very, and I mean VERY bad located back screw! It's good I have one of those pivoting extensions. So funny though - I bought it (the extension) with one of these $5 ratchet kits from Kmart 5 years ago... :) Great investment - it's not the first time it saves the day. Got my...

Re: Anybody heard of 2 inch trailer hitch for Vibe?

Thanks, i will reconsider. What about the grip? If there are 200 lbs far back behind rear wheels will it make the front get up and loosing grip? About the "aerodynamic" shape - I recently found there is this design: "Kammback" - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kammback Contrary on c...

Re: Anybody heard of 2 inch trailer hitch for Vibe?

Thank you guys, I was suspecting something like that (foolproofness). There is this cool alu carrier ( http://tinyurl.com/6r38emh ) and I was hoping there is a 2" receiver for vibe, but I guess there isn't. If I get it - will it be ok to put a big cooler on it and fill it up? Simple math: class...

Anybody heard of 2 inch trailer hitch for Vibe?

I am looking to get 2 inch hitch so I can attach a bike rack or a cargo carrier.
2 inch, because I would like to share the same attachment with my SUV as well.
Also the bigger the hitch - the more stable it will be (less wiggling).
