TRB, Did you rotated the throttle plate by hand to clean the back side too. I'd hate to un-calibrate the stepper motors, if that's what's in there. Or did you just clean the front end?

Many thanks. I'll just clean the TBI like I normally do. Just not as wild, as I did, on my daughters Saturn. Took almost a whole can of carb cleaner. It was atrocious!

Getting ready for the first oil change of our new to us 2010 Vibe. Says 0W20 on the filler cap. Is that for real? I think the owners manual says 0W20 also. Seems awful thin.

Pretty sure the problems come from back flushing an automatic. Bad idea. This appears to be a manual. Otherwise the fluid would be brownish (auto) instead of black (manual). Think about it...........how can leaving all the ground up particles, and broken down oil/tranny fluid, actually be a benefit?...

There's nice rubber rail pads that come with the rack. No scratching. If you're going to wrench, you need a torque wrench. Actually two. Foot Pounds & Inch Pounds.
