skimask, if you have a manual tanny there is switch on the clutch that won't let you start the car unless the clutch is pushed down completely. Maybe the switch is going bad.If you have an auto, nevermind.

I had that seat squeak for a couple years. At first I thought it was the clutch! I tried to find it one day but didn't have any success. It eventually just went away.I think the seat springs are accessible from underneath the seat, but don't remember for sure. Maybe some WD-40?

You can call ahead to the dealer to see if they have a PCM in stock. I was able to get it done over a single day.And it's not a "super fast brand new" hard drive.... it's just the existing hard drive with the known bugs fixed.

I average about 34 MPG, 75% city. (My daily commute has no highway miles.) So typically I hit 1/4 tank left at 320-330 miles.Driving to Austin over the holidays I got 40 MPG.

With an auto a decent average MPG is around 29MPG. Cold will reduce mileage, and the short drives to work won't have very good mileage (bringing down the average). When was the last time the oil was changed?

Got a set put on the Vibe earlier this week. Very happy so far, the ride feels much tighter and smoother and I was already quite happy with the Michelin Pilot Exaltos I just wore out.

I drive for mileage, so can't comment on performance but my K&N has helped my average mileage a few % points. I'd doubt it could ever make 2-3 mpg difference. 2-3% difference, sure.Reminds me though, I need to clean mine

Discount Tire will rotate tires and fill them for free. You don't have to show any proof of purchasing tires from them.(At least, last I knew. Call a local place to check the cost of rotation to be sure.)

Not bad! I was pleasantly surprised.I would agree that the singing is not very strong, but this is not unusual with starting rock bands and I don't think it detracts. ridelust.com doesn't appear to have too much of a clue, though. they cite the 2006 Vibe as a great used buy, but show a picture of the 2009 model. they also put one set of MPG numbers in the specs and another set in the paragraph below.

Now that the 2009 redesign is out, I should note here that the module is compatible with model years 2003-2008 Vibe / Matrix. I do not know if it would work on a 2009, as I haven't any information on that yet but I would doubt it.

With a child carseat strapped in the back, the seats stay up unless absolutely necessary and there's no other option... taking the carseat out and reinstalling it (properly) is a MAJOR PITA.I can't wait the day when I can just flop the seats down whenever it's convenient.....
