Blower motor is not the same between MAtrix and vibe. Who knows why? I tried to put a motor in from an 04 vibe into and 05 matrix. No such luck.

my 04 matrix does that metal/metal squeak when you put it into park after driving it and the car settles back (mine's an automatic). A year and half ago they traced the issue to the exhaust manifold "donut" and replaced it. The problem went away for 7 months now its back... and I can never...

FYI: The parts places aren't exactly correct.Matrix struts: 17 5/8"Vibe struts 19 1/2"So you could put matrix struts in a vibe, but you would lose some of the wide open height. But not the other way around.

Another idea... I've done this before when I didn't want to spend mone buying plastic. You remember those old black plastic VCR tape covers....they were used by video rental places and were made of thicker plastic... I've cut one of those up to the right size and hot melt glu gunned it in.

Most installers have this black plastic that super-easy to cut and can easiy be hot glued into place. I drive over won't work since its the wrong dimensions.

It could be a number of things... the volume knob on our cars isn't a potientiometer... (i.e. the more you turn it the less resistance.. the louder the speakers) like older radios. Most radios nowadays use a rotary encoder (which means every time you turn a knob an electric pulse gets generated.. ev...

90% of the mirrors out there use a 7pin connector. I'm assuming the factory one does too. There are two major manufacturers of mirrors out there. Gentex and Donnelley. The Gentex mirror almost always have the power on the same pins regardless of pin features. so if your factory one is powered Gentex,...
