it doesn't seem to be a damaged air intake as the water is on the far right side of the body structure. its in a place really hard o explain and it seems to be entering about 4 inches above the floor....at least that's the first place I can feel it wet when theres water being run down the rain tray....

pretty sure the windshield is not leaking. removed the plastic windshield cowl and flushed water down the lower cowling and felt a slow leak behind the right hand inside structure under the dash behind the insulation pad. im thinking a seam isn't sealed fully on he firewall in the area behind the in...

Well finally had both Vibes together and freshly washed. Our blue one is almost at 98k now and the silver is up to 85k. Both got full services done by me and they are good to go now. Our blue one also cleaned up well after a full detail and some fresh paint on the steelies.

The vin report doesn't show any theft reports and all the transactions look legit. Ive always seen shadow vibes around and wondered if it was our old one and well I guess I can quit thinking that now as its across the ocean.

Welcome! seems to be the post about newly purchased 07s. We also just got a blue 07 base with 92k. The Vibe is a noisy car, we have had a few and I think its just because of the lack of sound insulation. Plenty of post here on how to quiet them down.,,,im just use to it so it doesn't bother me.

Well 4 Vibes in a total of 9 years, we currently only have the 2. We were kinda kicking around a HHR but I think the Vibe looks much better. Chances are we wouldnt have got another Vibe but couldnt pass it up for the price we got on it.

yes you can leave the brakes on the knuckle and remove 3 bolts from the control arms and swing the knuckle and shafts out of the way to replace the seals. I did mine without taking the brakes off.

Im pretty sure with our 04 and now our 06 the mirror buttons do not light up, and only thing on the drivers door switches that lights up is the word AUTO on the drivers window switch. Its been awhile since I drove the Vibe at night so i might be wrong.

No problem if you need any info just ask, its fresh in my mind. I got a new used LCA today just painted it and hope to have it all done tonight. I found for soaking the best stuff is ZEP 45-NC Penetrating Lubricant. Also tried CRC Freeze off, PB Blaster and SeaFoam Creep.

Thoes came from NAPA i can tell from the name. Im running their ultra premium rotors and i just switched from their adaptive one pads to their ultra premium pads. Im at 68k, 3rd set of pads, 2nd set of rotors. Gotta love all the hills here.

Where on the engine block is it....front side or rear towards the firewall?What coolant did you refill with?I think after 6 years this is something Id like to do to our Vibe. I have a GM 3800 in another car that the DEXCOOL was never flushed and it was nasty when I picked it up with 82k on it.

Well just got the axle shafts out and after looking at the Matrix repair manual the seals currently in my rearend are in BACKWARDS! Had them replaced once at the GM dealer and looks like they installed both sides wrong.

oh yeah its not fun...car is an '06 with 68K, the rear lower control arms are the only parts under the car thats showing rust...the car was undercoated when new.What sucks is we changed all the suspension bolts and bushings on a '72 cutlass that we are restoring and has been a PA car its entire life...

im running Goodyear Assurance Tripple Treads all year on our AWD. Seem to be really good, wear is great and even, but the only downside is they are directional so cant rotate side to side.
