@Brandort3 - completely agree. Standard transmission is a lost art and soon to be an endangered species. Every time I buy a car with an automatic all I do is miss shifting on my own until my next car where I buy a manual again. This one is a keeper for the long haul. Especially with gas prices creep...

Thanks everyone! As far as the aluminum plates go. No scuffing. They are pretty rugged. Although I live in sunny Florida and don't often trek around wearing big boots. Northern climates it may be a little different story.
