Re: Custom Machined Parts (maddmic)

Just wondering if there's anybody looking for any custom machined parts. My contact is family and as Christmas is nearing, I will be seeing him shortly.

Re: Make your own Cargo Liner (rainvibe)

I also made my own cargo mat. I was tired of everything getting scratched up as well. I took my wife's mat out and traced it onto those floor mats that go together like a puzzle (see link). I found that using this material works great since I have a tendancy to put the back seats down and haul a lot...

Re: For all those having problems w/ Conti's....***READ*** (Stang2Vibe)

I will have to check on the service bulletin. The service dept is closed for today. But keep in mind, this isn't just because you don't like the tires. It's only if there's abnormally fast wear on them. Also, just a bit of info on them. When I talked to Continental, she advised me that these tires d...

For all those having problems w/ Conti's....***READ***

I got great news yesterday. If you have the Continental Conti Touring tires on your Vibe, there could be a solution. As stated in another post, I only got about 11k on my Conti's before I hit the treadwear marks. I took the car into the dealership yesterday after contacting Continental. Continental ...

Re: (sensfanrk)

Well, I did it in under 11k and 7 months of driving. I had them rotated as per instructions. I think it's just that I'm not used to driving this small of a car, nor one this his off the ground. Going from a GP to a Vibe has shown me that Wider is Better.

Re: the vibe can haul........ (johnsoax)

Hauled Sears 20 cu. ft. car top carrier in it's box to the house. Could almost get the hatch closed. 1 week later, filled the car with the wife, myself, the dog, his kennel, clothing, gifts, then put the 20 cu. ft. carrier on top for more items. Made a 3000 mile round trip. Plenty of times we cleane...

Rear Window Decal

Ok all. I'm wondering if those rear window covers that you see on pick up trucks would work on our cars. I know that we have wipers that would probably interfere with them, but I was thinking about putting it on the inside. Anybody have any info, or ideas?thanks!

Custom Machined Parts

I'm not sure where to place this post. I used to be a part of gp-owners.com when I owned my Grand Prix. On their site it seemed like people were always looking for custom machined parts for their vehicles. I'm just wondering if there is a demand here as well. The reason I ask is because I have a con...

Ok, who can help me with the formatting of my posts? Why in the world does the window for my post look barren? There's a huge emptiness, then words..... I've looked at my profile and can't find anything to change it.... Thoughts?

Ok, I'm confused. In your pic it doesn't show you using the enclosure, but a small box. So did you return it, or have you already sold the enclosure?

Re: Vibe Horn - Not loud enough - problem? (trdvibe)

It's pretty quick and easy. I didn't go the Hella route just because I had already waited too long and wanted a quick fix (ie. pep boys). The horns I got were the same from a Grand Prix (my old car) and I like the tone. Took me about an hour, only because I had to go back to the store since a connec...

Re: 2005 Subwoofer in a 2003 Didnt work! (Bocaj77)

So, did you ever get the enclosure? If so, how much did it cost and what was the part number? Were you able to send the part back for a refund, or are you looking to sell it? Also, anybody seen the 2005 vibe yet? I'm interested to know if the enclosure takes up much of the room...

XM vs. Sirius

All, Curious what your thoughts are on the great debate. I have a '03 GT and went to a local chain. They advised me that there was a wiring harness for Sirius that plugs in directly to my existing stock HU (M&T BTW). In addition to this, they told me that Sirius is offering their Kenwood tuner f...
