$20,000 car and no hood light,for that matter no glove box light,no center console lightno backlight for cruse,mirror,windows wiperspontiac could have done this for vary little costbut i guess they think something like a moonroff is more inportant then night safty.

you might want to check and see who made the sticker, and call themand tell them that the U.S.flag always goes on the left as you look at it.but it was probably canadian made.

my 04 was doing it since the day i took delivery of the car, untill saturday at least,dealer told me to bring it back in next weekand he would reprogram,he said that it was just a matter of manual input with the new key.

i also have a 04 taurus, after i drive the taurus for a couple of days and get into the vibe i feel like i went from a cadillac to v.w. yes the vibe gets a little better milage, but the comforts of thetaurus is worth the differance

mine done the same thing i called the dealer the next daythey told me to bring it in, they said my rotor had a flat spot on it from sitting on the lot so long,they turned the rotors (warrenty)and all has been fine since then

i got the full front protection pakage from my dealer also,i opt.for the full instead of the hood only because it took me 3 hrsto get all the bugs off the paint after going to florida and driving at night.
