Re: 3rd party warranty available? (rdavis85)

I actually purchased a 100,000 full coverage warranty with a $100 deductible when I bought my Vibe new, it was only $800 and they included it in the price of my loan, great deal!

Carbon fiber is extremely light (and strong). I personally don't like the look of it, at first glance it looks to me like they coulnd't afford to have the hood painted. I have seen some full carbon fiber front ends and roofs on some BMWs that ARE painted, looks much better IMO.

Welcome! Both cars are the same but you will probably spend a couple thousand less on the Vibe than the Matrix just because it doesn't say Toyota on it, and you won't be dissapointed with the GT either

Well I'm pretty much done with mine, the only thing I need still is some wheel spacers for the rear wheels to push them out maybe half an inch or so to make them flush with the outside of the car, that's bout it tho!

Re: Even after wax the car feels rough (dennisdrive)

You might have to go over it with a machine polisher after you clay bar it too, sometimes the grit the clay bar picks up will put very minor surface scratches in the clear coat, wax will hide them but once the wax wears off, you'll be albe to see them.
