I watched the video on their website http://www.v8snowblowers.com (he's supposed to be getting a better video online, cuz the one he has on there now sucks).I think I remember reading he has a spool in the "rear end", but I think he would have been better off with "posi-thrashin".

Thanks for the write-up Colonel, One of the sore spots on the Vue is the center console. They changed it in 06 to the same console that's in the Equinox and Torrent (I think). The center console that's in the 05 and prior Vues is a waste of good plastic. Thanks for the pics.

I'm going to go check it out. I've been thinking of looking into a pay as you go cuz we don't use ours much at all. The only problem is with the other pay as you go deals is there's a daily usage fee which added up to what we are paying now, so I haven't made the switch. I'll check it out. Thanks.

Could be many things. How many miles are on it? If it's still under warranty, I'd swing by the dealer and have them check it, cuz something's "a miss". I never remember having any problems with mine, it always fired right up.

You could also peek under the rear end and see if there's a wire running up to the brake assembly. The pic below is of my 03 without abs.You could also get out on a deserted road and slam on the brakes.
