Hi Ken, that is a base 1zz factory thermostat. Don't know off hand if it's 160 degree or not. Will see if I can pull a part number and cross reference it when I get home this evening.

How are you supposed to fit a washing machine in there?!?!? Pulley is on... road test in 1 hour (getting a wash). Took less than an hour to change, more like 25 minutes. First start up and a few blips of the throttle revealed what three lightweight pulleys will do, almost instant throttle response....

Thanks. yes, it's pretty quiet. Some reviews claim the exhaust noise a bit much/unrefined at WOT. To me that's a good thing :P

I went with the Injen CAI... While both types flow (and sound) better than the stock boxes, CAI gives the added benefit of cooler air = bit more power. You really can't go wrong with either.

Gutting the CAT is what is causing the CEL. Guessing it will continue to re-appear until the CAT is replaced. Some have had success "fooling" the sensors (search will give specifics). I opted to replace the cat rather than screwing around with the sensors etc.

Just a thought, but sounds like you may not be getting spark. Plug a plug wire off, and see if she's sparking. Also, is it throwing a CEL? If so it may help us narrow it down for you.
