They are Falken Rims 17x7 215/50/17. I think that they are OEM 17 inch size. I might ask a local shop to look at the struts to se if they are bad. But I though the hotchkis didn't have a 2 inch drop. Is it more than advertised?Thanks

So, I've had the springs on for over a year now. I think that the front is getting lower and lower. Alot of rubbing going on the highway. I had mine replaced in the summer but my insurance paid for it. It's cracked again. So I guess I'll call the insurnace company after the neww year have them replace it again.

The pads are new also. Hawk GPS, I think. I love them. The car stops great now. But sitting in traffic sucks. Loud squeeking noise. So do you think I need to replace the pads?

I went to Midas and they said that they couldn't turn them. Any idea who can? A small shop? Commercail chain?I put new pads on when the rotors went on. It's only been 4 months.Thanks.

I got the same setup and I was thinking the same thing also. The springs have imporved handling. Also the pot holes here are horrible on this setup. I'm afraid that something is going to blow when I go over one.

I got the Hotchkis and it's a good drop amout, I think 1.5 inches a little less in back. And the handling now is awesone. No more tipping feeling going on to exit ramp.

I want to paint the calipers when it gets warmer. I got the rotors on ebay for irotor I think. I think they were $150 or for front and back.Post some pics of your calipers. Was it spray on or the paint?

I had it alinged the day after I got them on. I using factory 17 tire size with the aftermarket rims. I'm thinking of going to 2254517. Or will that mess everything up?Anyway here are some pictures.

I got them on about a week ago. They improve the handling and look really nice. I ordered some slottedcross drilled rotors and HAWK brake pads a while ago. They were just sitting in the basement so I had them put all of those things on also.Pictures will be included in a day or so.But now that I see...

Just drove to work after that wonderful blizzard we had in MA and I had major vibration. It's the snow buildup in the rims for me. That's the only problem that I usually have after snow.Greg

Snow this past weekend.

So, how did everyone's Vibe survive the snow?I know I had a lot of wheel spin but I guess I'm not easy on the gas.I did have a tire viberation above 60 going to work. But I also had snow in the wheels that were knocking it off balance.

Thanks for the input. I really want it but it sounds like my company is going to have layoffs in January. I'll wait until after that. If it's still available them I might really consider it.So in the mean time I put 17" Falken Torque 5 rims and a Progress RSB on the Vibe.

I found a deal for 17x7.5 wheels with 215/45/17 tires for $650. Will there be issues, if any, if I put these on. I know stock 17's are 17x7 and 215/50/17. I'm guessing a slight speedo change will happen.Thanks.

I got the Magnaflow Catback installed over the weekend. Awesome deep sound. Louder on the highway, but I guess I'll just turn the radio up a little more.Also, found out that the OEM tires are quickly dying. So now I'm on the prowl for new rims and rims.

I went to the local dealership and picked up a maplight for the sunroof and it cost me $4.76. For a light, not important light. I couldn't find the bulb at any autoparts store. That's why I went to the dealership for it.
