I agree about it's "homely" look. I believe you can still see MDF boards painted in it, but it does have a cool design, and it'd be great if one of us could find a true abandoned (And ownerless ) stealth boat.

A lot would depend on the rest of your car. If you don't have the proper internals (BOV, Wastegate, large enough I/C) you'd run a high risk of burning up your engine/turbo.

Mandrel-bending is just a way to bend the piping (to make it fit) that won't put any tears or kinks in it. It should be available at a lot of the exhaust or muffler shops. Ask around to see if they carry it or not.

I've always thought custom would be the way to go, you can pick up a 2-3 inch full cat-back out of mandrel bent steel for 90$ if you do your shopping right, and you can get a good muffler for another $100 or so. It all comes down to looking around for what you really want instead of accepting one of...

Subie all the way! It has more power, less weight, and it's all wheel drive. (And being Japanese doesn't hurt either ^^)Also, interesting side-note: Subaru is Japanese for "The Seven Sisters" which is a constellation. This relation to the name can be seen on the Subaru logo.

If I were to vote for a location, then the Jersey meet would be in Florida Seriously though, if I had a choice I'd say as close to the Connecticut border as possible, as I'd be going to visit Greenwich, CT if I went to the meet (I used to live in Greenwich )
