Re: Introducing my new-to-me daily driver...

An old tip the old man taught me years ago: When driving a high torque, rear drive vehicle with an automatic, shift into neutral when approaching a light as (as you've seen) you can easily overpower the rear brakes. Yeah, ironically my Dad taught me the same thing. The funny part is by the time I w...

Re: Introducing my new-to-me daily driver...

Fun little Jag story for my fellow gearheads. It's no secret that the SBC 350 has quite a bit of torque. When the idle runs high (I think I have a vacuum leak in the climate control system), that torque is readily available. We got a few inches of very wet snow followed by very dense fog and freezin...

Re: Millster inspired me to show off my Euro car I just got

That's a beaut of a 240, Journeyforce! It's a lot like my Saab. Wonderfully reliable (in their European fashion) but a bear to work on when they do break. What you'll find is a lot of commonality with Toyotas of the year. I can't remember off-hand what parts are shared with the Camry, but there are ...

The bots are actually not the ones doing the posting. They're ad bots, search engine index bots, etc. They're known bots because they're allowed by the software. phpBB also allows bots to be blocked if you don't want the search spiders crawling through your site (I usually block them from my sites).
