Re: VSC Warning Light

This has happened to me twice now.

First time the dealer changed the PCM as that was the fault showing.
Second time was a Voltage Code related to an Oxygen Sensor, replace and now gone.

Re: Stock HU volume knob fix

It is because the knobs are breaking from the heat. Mine totally broke about a month ago and I followed the other radio know link to fix it. I found knobs for GM at Autozone and fixed. One knob is longer than other and I had to cut it down about an 1/8" to get it to seat properly. Overall I thi...

Re: Regnac 2010 Vibe

Well decided I didn't like the orange so went with red. Little background info on the tailgate...... I was moving chairs for a party and one fell and took a gouge out of the bumper so I then decided to use bed liner paint at first but that did not set up right. So then I used Durabak and that had se...

Well got tired of the black grill and the black inserts in fog light area and painted them all this weekend! Black was fading bad so now I think it looks great! Your welcome for the free advertising ! ;) Yes. Thanks! :D Two installation tips: 1) If covering up damage, make sure to smooth out the damage enough to allow the tape to get a good bond surface. 2) The tape has awesome bond strength - when the wheel surface is clean. After a good car wash, use pap...

Re: New Wheel product - Wheel Bands

This is a great idea - definitely checking into it. My daughter recently curbed one of my three remaining pristine wheels. Even if they were damaged on a curb it would protect the wheel and then the wheel band could be replaced. Might try to get my wife's new car done like this before it is too lat...

Re: New Wheel product - Wheel Bands

I swear this is not a set up -- but, with a Pontiac Vibe wheel in the staring role, we just posted a write up on how Wheel Bands can actually survive a curb rash event-- or at least provide for a much easier clean up to a like new condition than if you drive around in bare naked alloy wheels. Here'...

Those look nice :D A bit pricey though  I wonder if they'll get stolen or lost if you hit a curb :o They do add a nice touch to the wheels though ;) They come with a 2 year warranty that also covers the adhesive , so if that happens I get some free, plus I have left over material to do a 5th w...

It doesn't actually look like that, more like an orange red.... really weird how the picture made it look redder. I do have a K & N replacement filter, after looking at the comparisons and price the difference in performance isn't really worth it is it? Plus the intake is below like a cold air ...

Looks good! I do not think there is an easy fix when a speedo is off - then again most of these 2009-10's seem to have inaccurate speedos anyway! Do you need one unit per headlight? And is this $80 for 2 then? Very very interesting. There are some here that may like this for a projector setup to retain DRL. Myself being one. What percent do you figure for the speedometer impact? I think I'll need new tires before we get much snow. Can you be more specific on what you're looking for?

Do you mean LED strips or a bulb that fits in the housing?
Either one , probably what ever is easier to mount and wire, prefer Strips and even strips under middle bumper.

Re: lean code after cold air intake install???

I have a 2010 Vibe and got the drop in K & N, have one in my wife's 2008 G6 too and have put them in various other vehicles, I would definitely say you get the 2% gain for sure and based on MPG readout's on the G6 at least a 10-15% improvement in gas mileage as well.
