Re: snow! snow! and more snow! (trdvibe)

I took the family down to watch the ceremonial start downtown. What a disappointment. All that build up on the news and stuff, and every team was exactly the same. I must be missing something. I just don't see what all the hoopla is about. Yea, the snow sucked. I like the weather the last couple day...

Hey, now, my small block Chevy can do that, too. They just get REALLY ticked off when I boil 'em on base. Now, if I could just get the Vibe to light 'em up like the Chevelle........

I wish I could, but that's the middle of summer. With the short length of summer here, I refuse to leave Alaska unless it's an emergency. I save my vacation time for January - February timeframe. June is prime Chevelle weather!

Unfortunately, I'm not exactly sure where I have the paperwork. I don't think it's any added coverage I have, it's just something that State Farm has on policies. The best bet would be to call a local insurance agent, if your company doesn't have any idea what you are talking about, call a state far...

Congrats on the Vibe. I'll let you in on a secret. I live in alaska, and have to deal with the snow as well. If you remove the roof rack cross members, cleaning the snow off the top is MUCH easier. Oh, yeah..Welcome to the site!

Re: Hit and Run Accident with Vibe (suzye)

You shouldn't have to worry about your deductible going up. About a year and a half ago, my wife was driving on I75 up to Atlanta, and a semi threw a retreaded tire into the front of our Vibe. It pretty much destroyed the front end, the bumper (top and bottom piece), the drivers side headlight, the ...

My Vibes first road trip was from Macon Georgia to Anchorage Alaska. The Vibe ran great, the only problem was the broken window in Canada. It seems some one in Canada decided they needed my radar detector more than I did. Had they asked me for it, I would have kindly given it to them, instead they t...

I always have burnt CD's in mine, and have not experienced any problems yet. I love having the changer in the dash. My Corvette's changer was installed in the rear. That makes changing discs while driving a real pain. At least it didn't have a trunk to mount it in.

Mine's Neptune, but it also has the "naked" gray plastic pieces around it. The ones I've seen lately have been completely painted.

I used to until it was intentionally hit twice. Damage total = $680. Some people just can't stand it if you have something nicer than they do.

Hey, trdvibe. I own a neptune blue 2K3 Vibe. I've been up in Anchorage for about a year now. I'm just now starting to get into the whole Gen Vibe thing. I primarily focus all of my automotive attention on my '69 Chevelle SS. I've decided to give a bit of attention to my Vibe, now that it is my prima...
