I think that the 'good' year for the Vibe was the 2005. They had the AWD, GT version, etc. Ive heard that the GT version was high on gas but frankly, I dont mind. Ive seen the GTs specs and its not that much on gas. Besides, the GT engine is the same as the Toyota Celica GTS. My dad has one... a 200...

I think that if you want install the power package into your car, it will be less expensive if you pull-it out yourself instead of paying someone to do it. I dont think so because some other parts on the cars also electric and they still sells it. I think that the main reason why scrapyards doesnt want to sell power package is because they want to sell the whole door.

I agree with djkeev. Never let anyone else touch your car. I had my power lock installed with BestBuy... I still wonder if I made the right choice... I mean they did a good job and everything but I had to watch them doing it for 4 hours! If not, they'll screw up the job by being reckless and not car...

It happens only during winter. During the summer, the Vibe can get ok over the slope but you can feel it 'force' his way up.
