To be honest, I'm kind of leaning towards a 7th generation Celica GT, so that it'll be like working on/driving in a smaller version of the same car. I love the styling of them too, and the reliability of the good old 1zzfe like I already had is impressive. Opinions anyone?

Is it unsafe to drive like this? I don't wanna freeze to put this all back in and if it throws the code again. It usually takes 45 mins for CEL. Pending code comes up after 10-30 minutes.

I think I'm going to do an electronic exhaust cutoff like somebody had above. I want to be able to be quiet at night/around town, but make it LOUD in the country at will. I love the sound and the backfires it does between hard shifts and at low RPMs.

Honestly, I use the parking brake trick to disable drls, but the downside to that is that the red BRAKE light on your dash is lit. If you can get past that, pulling your e-brake up one click, which does NOT engage the brake physically on your tire, but it is enough to trigger the sensor to shut off ...
