Flared rockers were standard equipment on the 2004 and newer two tone models. That is the one easy way to tell the difference between a two tone '03 or '04. The flared rockers became standard on the monotone painted cars in 2006 or 2007.

I am only paying 440.00 a year for full coverage. We have a multicar discount, good driver, etc. but the Vibe is only 440.00 a year and wife's Montana which is low mileage driven is only 360.00 per year. We have aigdirect. This just started today. There is an annoying clikcing coming from dash in the same general area as the passenger side Airbag. I find it remarkable that GM is so heavily invested in large gas guzzling trucks when we are facing 3.50 a gallon gasoline costs here in the not to distant future. Don't they remember any of what happened in the mid to late 70s?

I agree with the others that if GM really thinks a loyal Pontiac driver will step into a Buick to fill their large car needs they are wrong. Dead Wrong. My Vibe is the 5th Pontiac I have owned. I would sooner get into a Chevy or god forbid a Ford or Dodge before I would ever consider driving a Buick...

I agree with Ragingfish. I got my rubber mats about a year ago and had planned to take them out over the summer and put the carpet ones back in, but never did. They fit, and look, so well in the car I didn't mind leaving them. They still look great too.

What is interesting about it is that Pontiac is almost advertising it as an all new model when in reality it is pretty much the existing Montana with a new engine, revised c and d pillars and a new front end.

Not to mention that when the vehicle is fogging up on the inside it is due to excessive moisture in the cabin. When the A/C compressor kicks in it dries the air. It aids in defrosting the vehicle's windows quicker than if it didn't operate that way.

What gets me is that Pontiac took off standard items on the car. It has been noted that they added a number of things, but all those things only come with optional (extra cost) equipment. I agree with Mavrik. I prefer the look of the 2003/2004 but wouldn't hesitate to buy a 2005 if I were in the market today. It looks better now that I have seen a few on the road than I thought it did when the pics first came out.

Yes, those pictures are really something aren't they. I have been following the Sentinal since the hurricane happened and have been amazed at some of the damage pictures they have. Wife has family in Orlando that got some damage and are still without power.

I think it used to stand for Grand Touring or Grand Tour. Nowadays, it is just a way to diferentiate an option package which upgrades engines or suspensions etc.

I have a similar situation. When I bought my Vibe last November, no one at work had one. There was one Matrix but no Vibes. Now there are three Vibes plus mine in the lot including a new 2005. My coworker was just joking about this with me today, about how I started a Vibe trend at work. LOL!
