And i drive it hard almost nonstop, it's just a blast to rev.The trick i have found is to hold the rpms at 2k as you slip into 1s...

I own a mono abyss and i have the same problem. ironically it seems the splatters are in the same place on both our cars. My guy at the body show i got my wreck fixed at confirmed that the paint was damaged and needed to at the least be wet sanded and recleared.

Well, i don't know about you guys, but i know that my domelight could stay on for a couple of days and i could still start it... for some reason my original Delco battery is a 780cca battery. Anyone care to enlighten me as to why a little 4-banger would EVER need 780cca battery?

honsety, it doesn't matter if you take it to a dealer to get fixed or not, the thing to do is find a shop that you know and trust to do the work. personally, i go more for the kamikazee aproach. Jack it up until it just pops off, then reattach with new bolt. with the weight completely off the tire it should be easy to manipulate the strut.

if my memory serves me right, the official Toyota/GM response to that question was that the coupling system on the AWD was never designed to handle the power output of the GT's VVTL-i. This would explain the more conservative 123hp on the AWD as opposed to the 130 on a regular base Vibe.

You know, i have heard a lot of mention to the clutch being undersized for the car's weight... and i just have to ask... do you consider a 2700lb car heavy? I certainly don't. I believe if the clutch tends to have a shorter life in the Vibe GT/Matrix XRS it has more to do with the more clutch feathe...

When i went to the shop today to take pics i got a chance to see the donor car chunk up close. It is interesting to see the unibody cross sectioned. It should be about a week and a half to get my car back. I am still working to post the pics, my digital camera sucks.
