Hey awesome guide, I'll be removing my mat on my 2007 to clean it and inspect the floor. I bet there's an inch of rust on the drive side. :(

I was curious, how did you clean your mat exactly? Last time I cleaned my liners, I just pressure-washed them until I saw clean water.

The price sounds about right for a trans/axle rebuild. You don't think the clicking could have come from a bad CV joint on the axle shaft? Could the CV joint or shaft broke? Thanks for the info, I lost one two. In fact I lost both but I found the driver-side one in the drive-way. :)

Any idea how to secure those and any idea why they are removable? If it's an option we don't have then I'll simply glue them in place. :)

I'm wondering what wire gauge you guys are using. If this circuit is breaked at 15A, then at 12V 14AWG would be required. The jumper replacing the relay should be of that gauge.. Tho, the wires to the harness at the console 12V socket looks like 18AWG max... so I'm confused.

Yes but no. :) Since my wife is the Vibe daily driver and she wants an automatic transmission, it rules out the 2ZZ-GE. From what I understand, it came only on the GT in the 2003-2008 models.

FYI, the 2.4L engine was only available on 2009-2010 Vibes. All 2003-2008 Vibes have 1.8L engines ;). ooops. indeed, I'll remove that criteria from my search then. Based on this information I would have to say you cannot safely tow either of these trailers. The gear required for five people plus the weight of those people pretty much rules out any trail...

Well it's been a year and my battery finally gave up last week. :) I was able to boost myself with my charger and drove to CT to get that battery I wanted last year (posted URL in an earlier post.) Got it on on sale (-25$.) Good deal I think for that type of battery, considering that I paid CAA 125$...
