i never got into 3rd so im not sure how the gearing would figure in. This thing pulls pretty hard when its rollin though. I am not sure about that online calculator either but I was thinkin like 15.8 myself. About .2 slower than M/T 1zz with similar mods. We'll see next month.

SLP Ram-air hood discontinued

I just called SLP to order my Ram-air hood and they told me they were disco. The distributors that I have called don't stock them either so that's out as well. Any ideas? I think I'm SOL. I'm not sure I like the one from RK Sports or not and it looks identical to the one from Street Grafitti.-Mark

As far as the dyno differences, this is best I can find out. It really is apples to oranges. The Dynojet calculates HP based on the acceleration of the drum. versus engine speed. The Dyno-pack is a loaded dyno and calculates off of hub speed vs. the load applied and of course gear ratio is a factor ...

He builds them from scratch, If you need to buy one he has all the schematics now, mine was the first vibe he did. Its almost identical to the matrix and he had done one of those before. It took about a week to get from order date to my door.

Just for archive purposes here. The TRD fit well on my vibe, install was easy. about an hour, it pushed up against my fog lamp a bit, but, otherwise a perfect fit, even with the supercharger.PS, at least twice as much as the Cosmo kit, so it all depends on your budget.

Dyno'd today and was able to get the WHP back to 163 and still run the WI, I took out the 100 nozzle and put in the 60 and cranked back the regulator 3 turns from factory setting. Torque still around 137. Thats it for the WI adjustments for now. New thread will be the Greddy install and then do some...

Ok, I have the snow performance 100 nozzle in and dyno'd today (Dynojet STD) 154whp, 130 ft/lb torque. Heres the kicker. It was way rich on WOT so, just for kicks, disabled the WI. 163whp, 136 ft/lb torque. Spoke with Randall at snow and he recommended 3 turns counter clockwise on the pump regulator...

UPDATE: I went with the TRD and it was installed today. Man, what a difference! I ordered the on for the base XR Matrix. The air filter is up against the fog light a little bit but, otherwise, clean install. Dyno results to follow.

Update: Ordered the TRD CAI, SnowPerf W/I, E.L. Prototype header, & Magnaflow catback. Hopefully with the water injection, the CAI should be OK without getting an A/F controller. Stage one almost complete, then on to stage two. I'll bump this out to a new thread.-Mark
