Re: Fixed my 2009 Gt broken radio knob!

Well, I replaced my volume knob today. It along with the EQ knob had been serviced twice before under my extended warranty, which ended several months ago. I ordered 2 knobs just go have an extra and glad that I did. I went with the bust apart the old knob method. It took about 20 minutes, but I was...

Unfortunately the warranty is over.

Re: Vibe Newbie - need advice.

Matt, that is a ton of miles for that year. In contrast, I have only 82,000 miles on my '09. Obvious the car you are looking at has wracked up a lot of easy highway miles; as such, I'm not concerned about the 144k. Just make sure the transmission has been flushed out twice at that mileage with Worl...

Just did the VIN search on my 09 GT. It appears it was built in February 2008. I've had my oil changes done typically every 4-5k and they shop hasn't mentioned anything yet.

Re: Fixed my 2009 Gt broken radio knob!

Just another update on this, the EQ knob (on the right) got stuck the other day on the replacement radio. It will still spin, but won't push in, and essentially locks up all the controls. So it's back at the dealership getting another radio.

Haha, yes, in my Cavalier and Sunfire days my dad and I were always getting stuff at the junk yard to fix them up. Just not enough 09 and 10s in them right now. And really not much I'm looking for.
