Re: WTB 03-07 SLP RAM AIR HOOD!!!!

If I end up selling my Vibe next spring, I will post the hood here. I don't think the new owner would give the hood the proper respect. The car itself has over 300k on it, so the hood may almost be more valuable than the car. I'm going to sell this car within the month. If anyone is interested in a...

WTB: Odometer Reprogramming Setup

Does anyone have an odometer reprogramming setup that they'd be willing to sell? I'm quickly approaching 299,999 miles (this week!) and I'd like to set my odometer to something more useful. One of the components is sold out online. (Yes...I know I could swap the cluster. I'd rather control the new v...

Re: (silverawd26)

SS version of the Maxx ought to be interesting in another year or two.Supposedly nearly 250hp, maybe AWD.Oh, and BTW - the Citation... a beautiful car. My first car was a '82 Citation (known as "the Blister"). Had a four-speed manual transmission, of which 1, 3, and 4 worked.Something like...

Re: GM Platform and Architecture Guide (Stang2Vibe)

I think the greek lettering was just the "new" way to do business. It got kind of confusing with the G-body, the "new" G-body, the "extended" G-body, etc. (Now you can call me Ray, or you can call me Jay, or you can call me Ray Jay... ) BTW - the next CTS (currently on ...

Re: GM Platform and Architecture Guide (ragingfish)

Just a couple corrections...The DTS (name for the 2006 Deville) is still going to be the "G-Body", not the Sigma architecture (still FWD).The Saturn L-series isn't on the Epsilon architecture yet. The L-series is going to be killed this model year and replaced in another year with a Saturn...

Re: door gasket wear (joatmon)

Great find, joatmon. I looked at my car, and sure enough I have the same wear. It's the interior door trim panel rubbing on the gasket. With the door open (obviously) I found a greyish fuzzy material on the inside door panel where it contacts the gasket. That material is part of what used to be my g...

Re: Center brake light information (joatmon)

I'm not sure about the required brightness (by law). The initial plan is to use the light that is currently used on the Blazer (not the TrailBlazer). It was also used on the previous generation GM SUVs before the center tail light was integrated into the rear liftgate. I figure an OEM light should be...

Center brake light information

Can someone post some information for me regarding the center brake light?I've got a project for work/school to improve a product. One of my pet peeves (on an otherwise great car) is the placement of the center brake light. Why have the light hanging down when you open up the liftgate glass? I'm pla...

Re: SLP Hood! (CaCathy13)

Well, hopefully we both are pleased with what we're being sent. Seemed like a decent guy. He mentioned something about some property in Florida that he wanted to offer me, too. (hmmmmm.... )Really looking forward to delivery...Let's hope for the waveless version!

Re: SLP Hood! (CaCathy13)

I'm having the one I got shipped to my house. The one available directly from SLP MUST be sent to a bodyshop (their requirement).I'll post some pics once I receive the hood (pre-paint). I've got a small dent in side of my car that I've got to take to a body shop (damn Michigan roads). I'm trying to ...

Re: SLP Hood! (NovaResource)

I just bought the SLP hood from a guy on EBay.$375 including shipping. He's posted another at http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... ry=6763.It needs to be primed and painted, but for that price, I'll take it.!
