We *think* it is the 2nd piece from the bottom in the lower left. The piece on the lower left is the RAM. The one above that looks like it could be your SSD. But if in doubt, just smash it all since you're recycling it, IMO.

I have a cheap Nuvi, and I really like it. I find Garmin's interface the easiest to use of all of the major car GPS brands. We looked at one with the traffic stuff and had heard that it was hit or miss so chose not to pay extra for that feature. The lifetime map updates would be nice though.

My 2003, purchased in October 2002, has 67K. And it was owned by a college student. And someone who went to grad school 7 hours away from home. Short commutes and short trips, with a few long ones in between...take away the long ones and I could see 25K.

Take out the radio bezel first, then gently pry the climate control and the shifter ring up with a screwdriver. New things are always pricey when they first come out, then the price comes down. How much was your first DVD player if you bought one in the late 90s? How much would that same one be now? Same for CD players. Discmans were over $100...now you can pick one up for $20.
