I put some red LEDs in the air vents in my Vibe about a year ago. They look absolutely great. I got them at Circuit City and got the switch from Jeg's. Too bad my camera sucks or I'd try and get a decent picture

Worst Nightmare Yet

My roommate had a party at my house while I went out with a friend. I came home the next morning to find that all my windows were busted out in my Vibe, the house all jacked up inside, and my room torn to hell. I contacted the police and they took a report. I contacted my landlord and he doesn't bel...

I've always wondered what it would be like to replace the Mini Cooper in the Italian Job movie with the Vibe. Imagine your vibe hauling (removed) with all that gold. Yeah, I will keep on dreaming

Yes, they did. They fired the mechanic that damaged my car as well. (It was his first day, and his last!) I also received a small settlement as well !!!

First Oil Change

I had received a coupon in the mail for a free oil change since I had just moved into a new city. I decided to take up the idea of a free oil change. As I was waiting for my Vibe to be completed I noticed that I had been waiting for over 30 minutes. Then, I remember the manager being invited back in...

I agree, use the claybar.. or even a bit of Simple Green on the glass (not the body) will help as well.

Wow, I must really be getting screwed over by my AllState because they will not give up on their theory that it is an SUV. Hmm, I will need to shop around. Thanks for the input!

Re: Wet Vibes... (Merzbow)

For one of my jobs I am a medic. I have the feature of getting to park my vehicle in a garage packed full of ambulances. I use the same carsoap that we wash the ambulances with (Meguiar's) to wash my Vibe. I wet the vehicle down with softwater from the hose. Then I handclean it with a lambswool spon...

How is your Vibe classified for insurance?

According to my insurance, AllState, my Vibe is considered an SUV. According to Consumer Reports it is classifed as a "sport compact" car. Because my insurance classifies my Vibe as a SUV, the insurance is jacked up. But if they were to classify it as a sport compact car then I would be sa...

I use my wired router for my desktops. As for my laptop I have a wireless card in it. I don't use my internet for it, but rather, there are three people in my apartment building that have wireless networks so I just leech it off of them.

I went to Target into the kitchen area. I picked up some of those soft grippy mats that you would find in a cupboard or inside a drawer. I layed some of it in the back of my Vibe and my sub hasn't moved since then!

I use my laptop in my vehicle for GPS. I use the DeLorme Street Atlas software in my computer with an external GPS hooked up to it. I think it only costed me like $120 USD at Best Buy for the software and hardware. It's not bad having GPS on a 15 inch screen for that cheap of price.

Re: What made you buy the Vibe over the Matrix? (ArcsVibe)

I chose the Vibe because Toyota said I wasn't approved for a loan with them. The Pontiac dealership gave me a 1000 bucks off the price cuz it was a "demo" car which only had 200 miles on it. Also, I got another 1000 bucks off because my mother drives a Pontiac as well. Then, without puttin...

I've noticed a lot of complaints about the paint. I don't even have a chip out of my paint yet and I have over 15,000 miles on it 5 months. Poor tire traction for winter roads No light under the hood so I can see what I'm working on No panic button on the remote I hate the safety feature on the sunr...
