It has a real nice throaty rumble when you give it some gas at idle. During highway driving 3000-4000 rpm, there was no droning and I could hardly notice...

If you really like the styling of the Vibe over the Matrix, go for the Vibe. If you are planning on doing any aftermarket modifications (Supercharger, spoilers, etc) and want any type of customer service, go with the Matrix.
