I had the same concerns as you, but rest assured, the Magnaflow is not obnoxious at all, and the only true cat-back out there for the Vibe/Matrix. If you really like the styling of the Vibe over the Matrix, go for the Vibe. If you are planning on doing any aftermarket modifications (Supercharger, spoilers, etc) and want any type of customer service, go with the Matrix.
